Metal Clay Jewelry
Immerse yourself in the remarkable medium of metal clay in this hands-on jewelry-making adventure.
Metal clay is soft and malleable, allowing you to sculpt and shape it much like traditional clay—yet after firing in the kiln, it transforms into solid metal. Faster and more approachable than working with sheet metal, metal clay offers a productive and exciting introduction to metalsmithing.

In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn how to manipulate metal clay to create a variety of textures and forms, including simple stone settings. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a new skill and a small collection of bronze or copper jewelry components or samples, freshly fired and ready to enjoy.

A supply fee of $50 is due to the instructor the first day of class. The supply fee includes a package of metal clay, kiln firing fees, and the use of specialized tools designed for working with metal clay.

Class details:
  • Designed for beginners
  • Minimum enrollment: 3 students | Maximum: 8 students
